Say Watt was created around 2014;
its roots go back to 1972.
Eddie’s father was an audiophile who passed on his love for high-fidelity sound. Even from an early age, young Eddie could discriminate differences in the quality of the reproduction of sound..
Inspired by a musician friend in High School, Eddie started writing and recording original music for fun.
In 1999 he obtained a rehearsal space for his acoustic trio. One member of the band recorded those rehearsals. After hearing the 1st attempts, Eddie knew he could improve the fidelity.
Within a year, that rehearsal space morphed into a ProTools recording studio while fully realizing audio was his passion.
In 2009 this studio mixing experience enabled Eddie to begin working live events as a hobby.
By 2014, while running 10-20 events a month, Say Watt Sound was officially born.
In 2018, with a “build it, they will come” mentality, Hulse built a rehearsal sound stage and recording studio in Rutherford, NJ.
Say Watt Sound has become a leader in providing the highest quality sound in the New York City metro region.
